Nativ unveiled its new high-resolution music system with a stunning 11.6-inch touchscreen display control center at $699 via Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign.
By merging revolutionary technologies and beautiful design to deliver an extraordinary music experience, Nativ features built-in support for popular streaming services such as Apple Music and Spotify, and seamlessly plays music from your smartphone, computer or NAS.
Available in three different variants such as Nativ Pulse, Nativ Vita and Nativ Wave, Michael Li, CEO and Co-Founder of Nativ revealed that Nativ is a great addition for anyone who lives and breathes music. Li also stated that Nativ will be suitable for audiophiles with high-performance audio and A/V systems to the casual music fan with wireless speaker solutions.
While Nativ Vita is a high-resolution music player and touchscreen control center with its own power supply, Nativ Wave is a state-of-the-art Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) and headphone amplifier that converts the music on Nativ Vita or any other digital source to beautiful sound and provides support for high-resolution audio and major formats including DSD, DXD and Meridian’s ground breaking MQA technology.
On the specifications front, Nativ Vita features a 11.6-inch IPS touch display, WiFi 802.11ac, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and Bluetooth with aptX in addition to support for Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect, SONOS, Bose SoundTouch and Google Cast. Moreover, you will be able to store large music libraries on the built-in hard disk or SSD drives with up to 4TB capacity.
With the help of Nativ Vita, which comes with its own power supply, you will be able to connect any audio source such as CD player, game console, and Television to stream audio throughout the home.
Capable of playing through USB DAC, wireless speakers and network player, Nativ Vita also provides an open platform for developers to build new apps and features.
Nativ has developed its own user interface for touchscreen navigation. Alternatively, you can also make use of Roon innovative user interface if you would like to browse music on a PC/Mac/NAS.
According to the company sources, Nativ Vita is the world’s first high-end music player to come with a built-in multidirectional microphone and innovative voice control.
Nativ also introduced Android and iOS app with which you will be able to control Nativ Vita with innovative voice commands. Interestingly, the company also released an app for smart watch, which enable you to control the player using your watch.
In addition to Nativ Vita, the company also introduced Nativ Wave, which is a new high-resolution music system coupled with high-performance DAC and headphone amplifier and comes with its own power source. However, if you want to experience maximum sound quality, the company also released Nativ Pulse, which provides clean power.
As mentioned above, Nativ Vita comes with its own power supply and hence you need not have to worry about external power sources.
Manufactured with hand and crafted from premium-grade 7000 series aluminium, Japanese-made Asahi glass and solid American Oak or Walnut, the optional wall-mount provides an ability to place Nativ Vita and Nativ Wave on the wall easily.
On the specifications front, Nativ Wave features a cutting-edge asynchronous USB 2.0 interface with a 16- CORE DSP from XMOS, and four high-quality terminals for S/PDIF (RCA, TosLink, BNC) and AES/EBU (XLR). Developed on two Burr-Brown 24-bit/192kHz DSD1792A, Nativ Wave deliver outstanding musical accuracy with exceptional resolution and dynamic range. However, you need to make use of Nativ Pulse, which is a linear power supply to power Wave.
With separate left and right channels, the Nativ Wave also offers the sophisticated audio clock featuring two of the world’s best ultra-low phase noise oscillators by Crystek. Moreover, it provides support for all major High-Resolution Audio formats including DSD up to 11.2896 MHz (Quad-DSD), DXD, PCM files sampled at up to 32-bit/384 kHz and Meridian’s new MQA format.
