Normally, when a business or service is launched, a press release is mailed to several people who are involved with the writing work. With the help of, businesses of various sizes including start-ups can now have their content in the press releases published by relevant influencers in less than 72 hours.

Commenting on the initiative, Anoop Johnson, Co-founder & Director of Marketing at IndiBlogger revealed that with a starting budget of just USD 150, a business of any size will be able to get their press releases published by influential bloggers with a few clicks. It is to be noted that content published by reputed bloggers drive attention among consumers and hence the platform helps digital marketers by creating awareness and much needed conversations around the product, driven by internet users on influencer platforms like blogs.

The system automatically notifies all bloggers registered on IndiBlogger about the activity and applications are accepted by the system without any manual intervention. To remind, the bloggers are selected based on various factors including internal ratings and rankings.

On the content front, shortlisted bloggers can either copy and paste the entire press release or perform their own research and publish articles within 72 hours of the acceptance of the application.

As of this writing, the system works in two modes. While the free trial enables bloggers to test drive the backend system without payment, the paid projects enable bloggers to monetize their websites by writing content.

As you can see, you will be able to view the relevant details like press release download link, URL you need to mention on your blog post and other information while applying for the campaign including a countdown timer.

If you select View Details & Apply button, you will be able to view the deadline date and other details pertaining to the campaign.

Normally, active press releases are available for up to 12 hours after they are uploaded into the system. They will be removed once they are taken up by a select number of people.

Once your application is approved, you will receive an email message with the subject Shortlisted followed by the title of the campaign. You have to select Accept link before proceeding to add the blog post URL. The main point to note is that you need to submit the post URL within 72 hours of shortlisting.

Once you accept a campaign, the relevant project will appear inside My Projects tab from where you need to select the red button to provide the URL.

If you had applied for a campaign for your blog, you will not be able to apply again till you finish the project. However, you can participate without any restrictions if you have multiple blogs under your account.
