Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 CTP 2 Adds Graphics Debugging and Several Bug Fixes

Microsoft recently announced the preview release of Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 CTP 2 with support for graphics debugging of Unity-based applications on Windows Phone in addition to bug fixes in Team Foundation Server, Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and Git.

Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 CTP 2 provides support for capturing depth buffers on version 9.3 hardware. It enables support for graphics debugging Unity-based applications that run on Windows Phone.

Periodic updates enable us to enhance and expand Visual Studio more frequently to support the latest software development innovations for building and managing modern apps.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Update 4 throws a critical notification in the Notification Hub that indicates that you must obtain or renew a developer license. If you dismiss this notice, and then you open another project, the critical notification appears again. The recent released update 5 provides fixes for this issue.

Visual Studio 2013 Update 5 CTP 2 also fixed a bug where you have a SharePoint document whose name contains too many Unicode characters.
