KDevelop 4.7.0 Adds CMake and Unit Test Support

KDevelop 4.7.0 has been released with improved CMake and unit test support. CMake enable you to make sure that all idioms required for KF5 development are available. The release also provides fixes for several bugs in unit testing. Moreover, you will notice considerable improvement during the start up process.

In previous version, developers faced issues with QtHelp integration. KDevelop 4.7.0 resolves all these issues. The PHP language support has been enhanced to handle namespaces.

KDevelop 4.7.0 includes Google summer of code projects and provides support for Bazaar (bzr) version control system. The developers have addressed performance issues, which greatly reduces the memory footprint when loading large projects with several thousand files.

“The development branches of the various KDevelop related projects are currently being ported to KDE frameworks 5 and Qt 5. Already, this reached a very usable state.
