Intex Technologies released a new Android Jelly Bean OS 4.2.2 Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) 3G smartphone, Aqua 4X with a budget price tag of Rs 2,999 or USD 49. Intex Aqua 4X is the only cheapest 4 inch device available in India. It is exclusively available for purchase only on ebay.in.
The Intex Aqua 4X ships with a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display, 1.0 GHz dual core processor, 256 MB RAM, 2 MP rear and VGA front camera.
The Aqua 4X only has 512 MB of internal storage space but can be expanded upto 32 GB with microSD card. You should purchase a memory card to work with the phone as its internal capacity is less.
The display panel has a resolution of 800 x 480 with 16M colors which enable you to view images, videos and games clearly.
However, we need to wait for some time to find out the quality of the display. You should note that the display is only LCD and not an IPS LCD, which renders more vibrant images and videos.

As many as 1975 units of Aqua 4X have been sold on ebay.in within 24 hours of the launch. It is shortly expected to touch 2500 mark which will be the highest ever purchase of a new smartphone in India.
I contacted Intex support to know the weight of Aqua 4X but the technical support staff told me that they have no idea regarding this particular model. Moreover, they suggested me to contact nearest service center.
I repeatedly told them that this model is available with ebay.in but the person was not aware of even such a site.
I wonder why Intex doesn’t train their personal and provide details of new models.
