You will naturally install many software programs available from various sources over the period of time. Hence, it will be difficult to locate a program when required.
Follow the steps mentioned below to locate a program in Windows 7
(1) Click Start Menu
(2) Enter the first character of the program you want to locate on the Search programs and files Textbox.
(3) As you can see from the above figure, the Start menu displays all the programs, documents, music files which matches the character “w”
You can directly launch the relevant program by just clicking on the relevant caption displayed on the search results. This feature is useful if you have installed numerous third party programs and tools.
