Microsoft recently released pre-configured Apache Cordova Azure VM for Visual Studio tools. With the help of VM, you will be able to build and debug apps for Windows Store and Android. An important point to note is that you can work as such you are working in a local development environment.
Apache Cordova Azure VM ships with a pre-installed sample project. It also includes a getting started guide which will help you to build your packaged app.
In order to work with Apache Cordova Azure VM, you can make use of any image from the VM gallery which you will view after providing the keyword – Cordova.
You need to pay an amount to run Apache Cordova Azure VM. However, you can make use of free Azure credits that you can use towards running the VM if you are an MSDN subscriber.
