Microsoft Azure HDInsight is currently generally available in China. If you are from China, you can make use of the features provided with Azure HDInsight. This new development is in addition to the recent offering of Hadoop public preview in China.
“Both local Chinese organizations and multi-national corporations with offices in China can spin up a Hadoop cluster within minutes,” said Oliver Chiu, Product Marketing, Hadoop/Big Data and Data Warehousing, Microsoft.
As of the time of this writing, Azure HDInsight page, trial version and documentation are available in Chinese, Japanese and English languages.

In addition to China, Microsoft also announced the availability of Azure HDInsight in Australia datacenters (East and Southeast) as well as in Japan East. Moreover, Microsoft has added big data functionality to an increasing number of Azure datacenters around the world.
