Microsoft has partnered with Adafruit to develop Windows 10 IoT Core Starter Pack designed to get you started quickly and easily on your path of learning either electronics or Windows 10 IoT Core in addition to Raspberry Pi 2.
Windows 10 IoT Core Starter Pack kit provides sensors, electronic parts, wires and required cables that have been verified to work with Windows 10 IoT Core. It also includes an SD card preloaded with Windows 10 IoT Core that enable users to work with the kit easily. The company also provides an instruction manual and sample code for projects.
Windows 10 IoT Core will have several new features as per the request from the community. The features include support for pulse-width modulation (PWM) and analog-to-digital converters (ADC) via an integrated and extensible provider API, addressing issues around the USB HID class driver and many bug fixes.
Microsoft will also upgrade web based device management interface and will have new functionality such as ability to change device name and password in addition to ability to start processes.
