WhatsUrSkill, Kolkata-based Online Talent Recognition Platform recently organized a logo competition named SWAGG. Started on February 20, the competition will continue till April 20, after which the winners will be officially announced.
WhatsUrSkill has announced that the winners will be eligible for cash prize of up to Rs. 2 lakh and tablets manufactured by WACOM. Moreover, each participant will receive an assured cash prize of Rs. 350 from Ruprr.com and a cash prize of Rs. 5000 will be provided to all participants who submit best photographs from April 9 to April 24.
In collaboration with 15 emerging start-ups and 5 NGOs, several graphic design students and professionals have taken part or expected to participate in this competition to showcase their design skills. Furthermore, participants need not have to pay any fees and all approved logos will be displayed on the website.
Some of the NGOs participating in the WhatsUrSkill logo designing competition are MARD Foundation, Akshaya Parta Foundation, Nanhi Kali, Together We Can and Gulabi Gang.
While Piyush Pandey, who was recently conferred with Padma Shri award by the Government of India has been inducted into the judging panel, Mangesh Bhayde, Ravinder Siwach, Sheik Mohaideen and Sachin Sanghe, who is the micro sculpture artist also verifies the entries found a place in the judge panel.
Launched 8 months ago, WhatsUrSkill.com has successfully completed various competitions like drawing, photography, selfie and others. The company is planning to organize other motivating entries in April 2016, which include T-Shirt designing competition, Travel Photo-blogging competition, Live Photography Competition and many other such competitions.
