Telerik DevCraft has added support for the Angular 2 JavaScript framework. Releasing the latest release of its flagship Telerik DevCraft suite, the company has also released Microsoft .NET toolbox for Web, mobile and desktop development that introduces support for AngularJS 2, the popular JavaScript development framework.
To recall, Telerik has been working closely with Google to provide support for the latest features in AngularJS. Telerik Kendo UI, which is part of the Telerik DevCraft suite, provides support for both AngularJS 1.x and AngularJS 2 Preview.
“We have continued to iterate and extend our most successful products to meet market demand for supporting new web platforms, and we’re proud to be among the first to support AngularJS 2,” said Marina Hristova, vice president of product marketing and management for Telerik DevTools at Progress, in a statement.
Telerik in a statement added that their DevCraft offering extends beyond AngularJS 2 to include the full breadth of HTML5 and JavaScript, and all .NET platforms.
The latest release of Telerik DevCraft includes improved responsive Web behaviors, new responsive demos, and enhanced mobile rendering and gesture support. Moreover, the Telerik Web UI tools enable developers to produce responsive and touch-friendly Web apps using new productivity improvements. The release also includes new Visual Studio app templates and improved Smart Tags in the UI for ASP.NET AJAX.
The Telerik UI for Universal Windows Platform for Windows 10 tool included with Telerik DevCraft provides support for the latest Microsoft platform for cross-device app development including an addition of more than 20 controls such as Grid, ListView, AutoCompleteTextView, and SideDrawer.
The latest release of Telerik DevCraft also includes Telerik Report Server, which enables you to create and share reports including integration with the Progress OpenEdge application and improved scheduling capabilities.
As a developer, you will be able to deploy report server and distribute precalculated reports to business owners with just a few mouse clicks. Moreover, you can also embed reports in any .NET application directly from the Report Server.
