Scrum Alliance has announced Shanghai, China as the venue for its global Scrum gathering. This is the first ever event conducted by Scrum alliance where hundreds of software engineers, practitioners, developers and authors will sit together under a single umbrella to discuss the latest trands in the Agile software arena.
Harvey Wheaton, Chairman, Scrum Alliance and Manny Gonzalez, CEO will attend and interact with delegates. The main purpose of the event is to provide business leaders, managers, corporations and practitioners worldwide the opportunity to come together to share their passion and knowledge of Scrum and Agile practices.
According to official sources, the presenters will attract delegates with success stories, current implementation best practices and creative applications of the Scrum framework.
“As part of our mission to transform the world of work, we host several events around the world each year to bring Agile and Scrum communities together. We have seen membership growing in China and considered hosting a Global Gathering there for the past couple years. With the increasing popularity of Scrum events globally, we decided this was the year to add a global gathering in China,” said Manny Gonzalez, CEO, Scrum Alliance.
According to Gonzalez, attendees to global Scrum Alliance Gathering will have an opportunity to share experiences, gain new insights in addition to creation of friendships. Moreover, they will get much needed energy when they return back to work.
Normally, global Scrum Alliance Gathering events are held twice every year in United States and Europe. However, similar event in Asia will provide easy access to leaders located in and around Asia.
