Fujifilm FinePix XP90 with WiFi and water resistant features launched

Fujifilm has launched FinePix XP90 in four different color variants for $229.95. The camera offers shock-resistant and waterproof capability up to a depth of 15 metres including an ability to work at temperatures as low as -10 degrees.

In addition to FinePix XP90, Fujifilm also unveiled three new devices with same premium features, individual style and aesthetics in addition to latest generation imaging capabilities. Fujifilm’s X-E2 is a mirrorless camera designed in the rangefinder mold.

Powered with a 16.4-megapixel sensor, FinePix XP90 packs with a decent optical zoom and can shoot full HD at 60 frames per second with support for a dedicated slow-motion setting.

Packed with a remote control app, the Wi-Fi enabled camera includes 5x optical zoom with 28mm wide-angle setting, BSI-CMOS sensor, interval shooting, time-lapse shooting in addition to a 3-inch 920K-dot LCD monitor.

Fujifilm FinePix XP90 will be available for sale in February at $229.95. According to analysts, the camera is cheaper and robust than flagship smartphones.
